Sing to the song of "I love New York!!!" My subway rides. Ok so I am on the number 6 train going to Brooklyn Bridge. It is so very crowded and I notice that people tend to look around at each other when the other one is not looking. Did you ever notice that? Door opens & the smell. But who is it from? Oh no, why me does this person have to stand next to or near? Because there is no more room in the train. The smell is powerful and fish-y..yes, smells like this person has been working in the fish market..so I begin to check out the outerwear and shoes...no sign of fish guts..but the smell. One guy was covering his nose & mouth with a hanky...all I could do is patienly wait till my stop with hopes that I too would not smell now just being near this person. And no, I don't. Thank God!
